USA 400GSC/GSCR: Shutter Operator Focused on Safety, Energy Saving and Quiet Operation

Jul 24th, 2026New

The USA‑400GSC/GSCR is a new type of shutter operator developed with focusing on safety, energy saving and quiet operation.

When an obstacle is detected, the operator immediately stops and reverses the shutter upward. The load detection sensitivity can be adjusted by 10 levels to suit different operating conditions. The conventional bottom safety switch is no longer required, simplifying the system configuration.

During shutter descent, the motor generates electrical energy (regenerative power), and this energy is recovered to achieve low power consumption during downward operation. Under rated load conditions, power consumption during descent is less than one watt, making it an energy‑efficient product.

Shutter‑friendly speed control with slow start and slow stop functions provides smooth operation and excellent quietness. A high‑precision digital control system combined with a DC brushless motor provides stable rotation control. The shutter opens and closes at the same speed regardless of power supply frequency.

The lifting load and minimum descending load values are based on the use of a 4B drum. When a 5B drum is used, the lifting load becomes 0.87 times the indicated value. For safety, an auxiliary limit switch (emergency switch) should be installed on the shutter.

The USA‑400GSC/GSCR is designed for durability of 10,000 opening and closing cycles. It operates in ambient temperatures from −10°C to +40°C (without freezing or condensation) and ambient humidity of 85% RH or less.
